what's up with maids nowadays? my god..seriously. we just had our lunch just now and my maid came to clear the dishes when she suddenly turned to my mum and said that she wants to go back to the agency AKA "I DONT WANT TO WORK HERE ANYMORE." i thought things were going fine, i mean my mum's controlling her temper fine (you shld have seen her w the last maid. now.. that was scary.) and we're not all that demanding. and then she suddenly comes out and says that she wants out? wtf. i mean i can understand that she misses her family and that its kinda depressing being on call 23/7 but HEY this is what you signed up for when you chose to be a maid. its part and parcel of it. my mum and dad were patient in dealing with her. and asked her nicely why she wanted to go home. but heck, she refused to say anything. but after endless gentle coaxing she finally replied and said that she can't handle the late hours. she sleeps at abt 11 plus every night. and the only reason why this is so is because my dad only comes back from work at 11. but c'mon, its not like my dad works the night shift everyday. there are MANY times where my dad works the afternoon shift and he's back at 4 in the afternoon. days like this everyone (but me) turns in for bed at abt 10 plus. and she get a long nice sleep. but HEY she doesnt keep this in mind does she. f.

the one i pity is my mum. its like one after the other. the previous maid was cowardic and ran off to the embassy giving my mum a hard time. not just in terms of being socially responsible for her, but financially, she had to pay for her flight and everything. and this is after all the previous wacked maids that came to work for us. now its this one. the one currently walking to and fro, packing her stuff.

sigh. this just keeps getting better. NOT.
